Gold Cup 2023 - Young Crew Support

For those who may not be aware NFIA support with a 50% payment of entry fee for any crew under the age of 35 wishing to participate in the Gold Cup.

This has been in existence for the past few years and the board feel it extremely important to help the next generation of Nordic Folkboat sailors to participate in this prestigious event.

Last year NFIA helped a young German crew in Kiel at the 2022 Gold Cup, and this year we are open for the next young participants. We very much look forward to hearing from anyone wishing to claim this opportunity. All you have to do is email secretary@folkboat.com with your DOB and boat entry information.

This year will prove to be a first for the class as Tallinn (Estonia) will be hosting the event and as we write in March the early indications are a strong entry, with 7 different countries represented (US, UK, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Germany and Denmark)
